Uncle Tom's Tavern

OOTD

It was a Sunday. The cafeteria in church was on a hiatus so everyone had to head out for lunch.

Was discussing with my mom whats for lunch when BFF told us about this place. Uncle Tom's Tavern at err Plentong? It's one of the shops beside Tesco (old Macro) I'm bad at places. Anyway, I don't think it's very nice so if you want you can just skip this post.

When I first stepped into the restaurant, I'm like. Oh nubad. Quite like the ambience cause there's not many people & quite quiet.

Mushroom soup. I think it's quite nice but very normal. Taste like Pizza Hut's mushroom soup lor.

Mine. Taste very meh. I dont know what kind of pasta they use but it certainly DOES NOT taste like spaghetti. The sauce taste a little sour. But the chicken is nice.

OK la. I give bonus point and credit for okay service, good ambience and nice looking food.

Service I rate okay is because I guess they have only 1 chef so the food comes a bit slow.

Friday

Which is also Chor 6.
Went to Singapore IKEA with my mom, sis & baby nephew.
I love IKEA! Not just because they have tasty food but also I love looking at home deco stuff & furnitures. LOVE! hehe

So I randomly grabbed a pillow & his hugged it like this. Damn cute I cannot TvT

He loved it. Ahhh spent so much time with him. I miss him already although I ran around & carried him & entertained him in IKEA with him for like 3 hours.

Then we came back to JB for dinner. Had korean meal at City Square. It's a new shop called BORNGA in the food level of inner city.

Some kind of appetizer which is sour :x

The interior. Nubad lah. Quite nice & they keep playing KPOP. I'm actually quite surprised they played Super Junior's Wonder Boy cause I don't think many people (especially non ELF) know this song.

Bulgogi my brother in law ordered. I didn't eat cause I have my huge bowl of Beef Ribs Soup.

Which is super nice. I love it. A bad move to order cause it's too big for me to finish it. There's so much beef inside. & because I orders samgyupsal too :x

OMG I'm drooling as I'm typing this. Sorry everyone for making you crave for korean food. hehehe. Seriously, I think you all can try the food there cause I think it's different from other Korean Restaurants like Kimchi & BBQ which is my fav restaurant.

I didn't really went anywhere or did anything for CNY this year (actually, every year). So here is a compilation of everything I did during CNY.

OOTD for the 1st day of CNY

As usual, indian meal for lunch lol. Ordered nasi bryani & omg super spicy. I simply cannot tahan spicy food.

Went home & took polaroids with the love of my life. hahaha

Wednesday

Went shopping for some stuff at The Zon and passed by this cheongsam shop & my mom almost bought this for me. hahahah. I could never imagine myself in cheongsam cause I think it's weird but I guess I look okay in it.

Went to Stulang Laut after that cause my maid says she wanna 'tengok laut' LOLOL

The cousins and I went over to Show Planet in Mount Austin for karaoke session.

I LOVE KARAOKE!

But I only sang 4 songs cause the songs they picked are mainly chinese songs that I am not familiar with. English songs are those that are really really old like, Fall for you by Secondhand Serenade. Which someone sang for me when I was 13 LOL I feel so old now.

Anyway, I reached home at 3.20am that day. My first time ever reached home so late after partying. Hehe :p

OOTD for the 5th day. Which was also V day.

Had steamboat for dinner again fml.

Yep. My CNY was basically like this. I never play a lot of mahjong this year cause no one can accompany me. Sien ttm ): Never play blackjack also cause all those that play die die also wanna gamble de. I don't gamble so I can only see ~.~ Chor Dai Di also la. All say forgot how to play. Or else only got 2 people (including me) can play. 2 people how to play Chor Dai Di!?!!! Haih, suan le bah. CNY is gonna be over soon. Must get more ang pau while it's still CNY :p
